For this unique project, our client—a forest officer with a deep appreciation for heritage—entrusted us with designing their 1,950 sq. ft. home while seamlessly integrating their treasured vintage teak furniture, bison horns, and artifacts. Our goal was to create a harmonious balance between nostalgia and contemporary aesthetics.
Master Bedroom: A Statement of Elegance. To craft a refined and cozy retreat, we designed an expansive, end-to-end headboard using plush upholstery, accentuated by copper mirrors and rich veneer panels on the sides. This sophisticated combination added depth and warmth to the space. Complementing this was a pastel-hued wardrobe that introduced a soft, serene contrast—an element the client absolutely loved.
Dining Area: A Unique Fusion of Art & Architecture. Breaking away from conventional cove light ceilings, we introduced a distinctive ceiling design that added a touch of modernity while complementing the space. The highlight, however, was the stunning tribal carving, handcrafted by an artist in natural teak wood, which became an artistic focal point. This exquisite craftsmanship was further accentuated by the puja room door, featuring sleek fluted glass panels that introduced a contemporary touch without compromising the home’s traditional charm.
Through thoughtful design and meticulous execution, we transformed this home into a beautiful confluence of heritage items and modernity, ensuring that every space reflected the client’s personality and legacy.
